Andrew: Hello everybody! Here’s what we have for this week-
• Town Progress
Worked on the 1st building a bit (which is the one to be an apothecary), added extra trim and supports, beveling front edge and etc. Looks a bit better eh?
Added/replaced white placeholder buildings around town with the proper buildings (that have been made/nearly completed), making it look more like a town.
Made progress on the 2nd building (which is a multistory residential building for folks living in town). It is still WIP but getting close. More screenshots to come!
• Breaking Things!
-All weapons and shields now unequip when breaking (item condition reaches zero). You can no longer equip broken items.
-Empty bottles and potions now shatter with glass when broken (including items attacked).
• Misc Improvements
-Improved projectile accuracy. Since projectiles are using physics, raycasting now occurs in the fixed-update loop.
-Camera is now less jittery while riding horseback.
-Horse now has idle, swim, and death animations.
-An improved sand texture (and normals).
-Torches no longer hide when sheathing your weapon(s).
• Bug Fixes
-Fixed player animation bugs: dying while jumping and dying while mounted.
-Fixed horse animation bug: remaining in jump animation after receiving height damage until jumping again.
